Tableware for the Ned Hotel London

Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in the early 1920’s the building was originally built to house the Midland Bank headquarters.

The grand building had been left empty for nearly 8 years before the founder of Soho House, Nick Jones first saw the building in 2012 and saw its potential to become an iconic hotel and members club.

After extensive work taking five years to complete, the hotel opened its doors in 2017.

The immense size of the hotel means that it encompasses 250 bedrooms and 10 restaurants, as well as numerous bars.

Surrey Ceramics were glad to be asked to supply tableware for one of their many restaurants – Malibu Kitchen.

The Malibu Kitchen chose items mainly in the vibrant glaze finish called Nirvana which was interspersed with items in a few other glazes.

If you happen to be anywhere near Poultry, Bank in London then why not look up the Ned Hotel for a bite to eat – https://www.thened.com/london/restaurants
