Surrey Ceramics have been supplying GAIL’s Bakery since 2012 for their general crockery needs across their bakeries.
In 2019 we were tasked with looking at their beverage ware with some very specific requirements- especially regarding the teapot- in which they wanted to incorporate a filter that did not detract from the design.
GAIL’s are passionate about their tea and coffee offering and were equally passionate about the cups they wanted to serve it in. GAIL’S chose a mug shape we already produced and tasked us with adapting the design to suit their particular needs as well as producing a brand-new teapot designed from scratch- accommodating that all important filter for loose leaf tea.
Surrey Ceramics set to the task developing the products alongside the GAIL’S team and in 2021 the new beverage ware was rolled out to all the Bakery sites with carefully planned and co-ordinated deliveries to the individual sites.
The response from the general public has been very encouraging, with many clients requesting information about the pieces as they wish to have them in their own homes!
It was a real pleasure working with the team at GAIL’s and we’re so pleased they are delighted with the new beverage ware.
